A quick report to let you all know that Clara is out of surgery and it went well. We'll share more details in a longer post later tonight but wanted to thank everyone for all of your prayers. We are praising our mighty and merciful God. Continue praying as Clara will likely face some more setbacks in the next few days. About an hour ago she had a heart arrhythmia and the doctors are working now to try to determine the cause of it. She is currently stable and doing fine. More updates later. Thanks again for your faithful prayers.
We are SOOO grateful and are continuing to be diligent in our prayers! You have a lot of people in Maryland and Oregon praying for you and your precious little Clara!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful that the surgery went well...continuing to pray for all those post surgical hurdles to go just as well. Baby Clara is as strong as she is beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThank God! How blessed Clara is the Lord chose you and Robert as her parents. May God continue to take care of Clara along with the excellent medical team. May He also give you and Robert the strength to handle each second, moment, hour and days ahead. Thanks for keeping us posted. I know it must take a lot of time and emotional energy. In a funny kind of way, Clara is all of our "Baby Girl"! Love, Linda and Larry Varner (Cole's parents)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that the surgery went well. I will continue to pray that the next few days Clara will heal and get stronger for the next steps ahead.

Chrissy, In one of your blogs you talked about image prayer. I just wanted to tell you that my image prayer is of God holding Clara" in the palm of His hand." The quote is from the song "On Eagles' Wings. Today He held Clara and lifted her up on Eagles' Wings. Praise God for her successful surgery.
ReplyDeleteHardy Family,
ReplyDeleteI would just like to thank you for giving us the honor of witnessing this very special part of your lives. It is amazing how a baby girl can impact others' lives so profoundly. I have always considered myself to be faithful person, but I know that with the immediate concerns of school and work, I have been remiss in my faith and allowed it to fall to the wayside. Your family's faith has been such an inspiration to me, and I have prayed more in the past two weeks than I have in a long time. Thank you for helping me to realign the priorities in my life and rekindle my relationship with God. Clara truly is a testament to the power of God and the miracles He can work.
Continuing to pray for your family, Clara, the doctors, surgeons, and nurses, and everyone else who has been touched by your amazing story,
Erica Sigley
