Eloise's Smash Cake

I already posted about Eloise's first birthday party on the Saturday following her actual birthday.  But we spent the day of her actual birthday celebrating too. After lunch we let her smash her own cake before opening a few presents.  There wasn't any doubt that she would love it, but these photos are priceless.  

Thanks be to God for cake and icing and pure delight.

There's a lot I love about raising two girls, but near the top of the list would be how much fun I have dressing them.  I don't always dress them alike, but when I do I take a photo of it.  And on Sundays they are almost always picture-worthy.  Here's a bunch of Sunday shots from the past several months.
