Beachin' 2012: Water and Waves

We expected Clara to be a bit tentative about the ocean and the waves, but that couldn't have been further from the truth.  I must keep reminding myself: this child has no fear.  None.  She ran out into the waves again and again with reckless abandon.  Good thing we had lots of adults around to help keep her from drowning. Next on the to do list is swim lessons.  Here are some stills of Clara enjoying the water....

Beachin' 2012: Sand, Shovels and Buckets

The sandbox may not have been a great success, but Clara sure had fun with the sand on the beach.  Here are some shots of her with buckets and shovels digging and creating from sand, glorious sand.

Watermelon in the Pasture

Perhaps you noticed in the Father's Day pictures I posted that Clara was wearing an adorable watermelon outfit?  Well, yes.  And couple that with the gorgeous backdrop of pasture in Elbert County, GA and I couldn't resist snapping a few more treasures.  (Don't worry, there are more beach photos coming soon too. But these were too good to resist.)

I have been replaced in that hammock and I can't think of a better replacement....
