During my sweet friend Susie's spring break, we met in Salisbury for a day at Dan Nicholas Park. This has been on my list for a long time for an outing for Clara, so I was so excited to make it happen and also to have a great excuse to hang out with Susie and Rebekah. I hadn't been to Dan Nicholas since I last took a group of kindergartners there on a field trip and I have to say, it was a lot more fun with just my own kiddo. We rode the train, rode the carousel, visited the animals, went gem mining, had a picnic lunch and played on the playgrounds -- all for CHEAP! We will definitely be back again.
